WEEKEND & DAY RETREATS 2024

DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED

Where: Spend a wonderful day in Oxfordshire’s most beautiful countryside in a gorgeous indoor venue. Comfortable, relaxing and inspiring — this will be a day of learning, connecting and reflecting with a group of like-minded creative individuals.

What to expect: A day of creativity, connection and reflection. Part masterclass, part group coaching session — this day will be your chance to ask Emma anything, plus learn everything she has to share on crafting a writing career and living a creative life.

Sunday Times Bestselling author Emma will lead a day full of specially-designed exercises and discussions to help you unblock any creative challenges and start moving forward with your creative project. Whether that’s figuring out what’s holding you back, finding tools to tap into your creative flow or daily exercises that can change the shape of your day.

Emma has published six bestselling books to date; her most recent book The Success Myth was chosen as a ‘best book of the month’ by Apple. Her popular career manifesto The Multi-Hyphen Method was a business bestseller and her debut novel OLIVE was nominated for the Dublin Literary Award in 2022.

She loves to tackle topics of success, failure, resilience, creativity, wellbeing and digital culture. She runs the popular newsletter The Hyphen on Substack (an exploration of ideas that have got her thinking in new ways). She is a trained coach, having undertaken the Martha Beck Inc. WayFinder course in 2022. She is also a popular teacher on the online learning platform Skillshare, where her classes have attracted over 80,000 students.

She is an experienced speaker and has spoken at TEDx, the Oxford Union, Founders Forum, Instagram HQ, Amazon UK and Google. She has also appeared regularly on BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 1 and Virgin Radio. She is a trusted panel host and has interviewed everyone from actors and authors to scientists and politicians on stages such as the Hay Festival, Cheltenham Literature Festival, Southbank Centre main stage and festivals all around the UK.

Emma is a true authority on creativity, self-employment, wellbeing, digital culture and how to approach our work and life in a more rewarding way.

As we head back into Winter, a time to hibernate and plant new seeds ready for a new year, use this special creative retreat to explore your own blocks, hopes, dreams and new creative projects on the horizon.

There will be a delicious catered lunch, multiple cups of warm tea, complimentary journals and a day of feeling nourished.
