Today’s top tips on how to give art a go whilst staying at home. Brought to you by @rachelsampsonartwork A designer and artist specialising in pet portraiture (www.rachelsampson.co.uk) “I think there are few people who don’t enjoy art in some capacity. A lot of people often say ‘oh I wish I could do that’, well, now is your chance to give it a go! The best thing about creating art is that there is definitely not a right or wrong way to do it. Whilst we are at home, you don’t need to feel the pressure of people looking at your work so take the opportunity to enjoy it! You can use pencils, pens, paints and while most supermarkets are open and online shops are delivering you could buy a few bits and pieces. Take inspiration from anything at home or in the garden, pets, flowers, patterns. Just practise, you might not be happy with the first or second attempt, but don’t get disheartened, just have another go! You could try copying something, hold your paper over an image and trace an outline and start from there. Or if you fancy colouring with the structure of an outline, pop onto the internet/pinterest and google mindfulness colouring where you’ll find tons of outlines. Good luck and post your creations in comments if you want to share! See my Art with Ease video in Instagram Stories or on @easeretreats Facebook page Xxx “
