A HAPPY STORY

If there is anything that brings me joy, it's reading about how my guests feel after they have been on an Ease Retreat. It is so rewarding to see their smiling faces and watch while they relax their mind, body and soul.

If you're looking for a place to feel refreshed and rejuvenated, I promise you spending a weekend with Ease Retreats will bring you so much calm, joy and happiness.

If you're wondering what to expect and how you'll feel after being on an Ease Retreat, then please read this lovely heart felt testimonial from one of my recent guests

Written by Tamsin Ford friend and founder of Blossom & Nectar

'I wrote this review 3 years ago after being on the first Ease Retreat. Wow, what a journey 3 years later. I went on several more Ease Retreats and even to Palma. I can definitely say I would not have created Blossom & Nectar without these breaks. Reading my original review I can feel similarities to how I’m feeling now in this isolation situation. I have been told we’re feeling a sense of the same emotions felt in grief during this time, so once we’re allowed to resume a new normal I know I will need a halfway house to reintroduce me to civilisation. I can easily become agoraphobic and this lockdown is perfect for that. I’m really looking forward to next Ease Retreat and have it as one of the events I will do after lockdown. Tanya has a great ethos and genuine interest in people and their happiness. She has a talent to find people’s qualities and match them with people who need them. Everyone ends up helping each other and from that I’ve made some great friends. Ease Retreats is a way of life and something we all need to nurture our mind and soul. My Ease Retreat Experience 2017.

It was a very last minute decision to go on this retreat and I went mainly to support the fantastic organiser. I'd gone a year of huge personal upheaval and this was the last thing I wanted to do or had the energy for. My self confidence was at an all time low, plus going through a massive lack of purpose and identity, I'd put on weight and didn't recognise the person looking back at me in the mirror.

I couldn't have been more wrong, this was exactly what I needed! When I arrived at Langland Cove I was so pleased, what a perfectly beautiful place. Instantly calming and immediately homely. There were books, magazines, yummy food. I felt like I was at my Nan's house in Sidmouth at Christmas time.

It took a day to realise how emotionally blocked I'd become and the daily beach walks were so calming. The relaxed atmosphere lent itself perfectly for either reading, chatting or just taking some time to gather your thoughts alone.

The group breakfasts with freshly cooked crepes started our day perfectly and the evening meals were also perfectly prepared by Tanya the host, with more incredible conversations.  I didn't think I'd join in as much as I did, but the time zoomed by with so many interesting and brilliant life experience stories from such an inspiring group.

I drove home crying because I'd not felt so relaxed or happy. I had actual motivation again.  These retreats are more than just a weekend away, these weekends are a must for everyone. We need to sometimes stop to be able to start. Stress can ruin everyday of your life, death can only ruin one. Tanya had encapsulated every key element of The Ease ethos. We had a lovely gift bag to take home including a mindful book, hot chocolate and a special bespoke  Ease Retreats candle. Making sure we make sure we carry on the values and ethos we'd just invested our weekend in.

A well-being weekend with Ease was well worth the time and money, highly recommended

Tams xx
