WHERE: Nestled in the picturesque bay of Tresaith, West Wales, our retreat takes place in a stunning 7-bedroom beach house that stands proud with panoramic views of the ocean. This coastal abode offers the perfect setting to rest and read for the entire weekend. Key features: Breathtaking views... Almost all bedrooms boast sea views, immersing you in the coastal beauty. Natural environment... Close by a waterfall cascades onto the beach, adding to the serene atmosphere. Opportunities to explore... Stunning coastal walks lead to neighbouring villages, perfect for mindful strolls.

Spacious Communal Areas: A large kitchen- diner for feasting and engaging in meaningful conversation. A cosy lounge stretching the length of the house, featuring a log burner, bookshelves and ample comfortable seating for reading, writing or napping. Seven bedrooms, most with sea views. A shared bathroom on the first floor and a spacious shower room on the second floor. This delightful retreat provides the ideal environment to disconnect from digital distractions and reconnect with yourself through resting and reading. The combination of breathtaking scenery, comfortable living spaces and thoughtful amenities creates a perfect backdrop for our Rest & Read weekend retreat, allowing you to truly unwind and rejuvenate in a serene setting. What to expect: Your retreat fee covers everything you need for a luxurious and immersive reading escape...Three nights’ accommodation in a beach house, steps from the shore. Daily breakfast (homemade granola, freshly baked croissants, seasonal fruits), light lunch, and two-course dinner. A curated book package, including a coastal-inspired reading list. A journalling workshop the perfect opportunity to channel your thoughts. Our days will be spent immersed in reading, discussing books and connecting with our literary selves. We will also experience delicious locally sourced food, with ample time for curling up with books in cosy reading nooks.

A rejuvenating weekend in a stunning beach house along the Cardiganshire coast. You'll enjoy upbeat conversations, insightful discussions, reading tips, healthy meals, coastal walks, and plenty of rest. This retreat
follows a fabulous 'go back to bed' policy with no alarm clocks, allowing you to naturally reset your rhythm. You can stay in bed for as long as you wish.

'HOW THE WEEKEND WILL FLOW'​​

Day 1: Arrival & Welcome | Our retreat begins with a warm welcome dinner, where we’ll dive into the book sent to guests ahead of time. This is a chance to connect, share first impressions, and set the tone for a literary-filled escape.
​
Day 2: Let’s Read | We’ll start the day with a leisurely breakfast and a lively discussion about all things books. Later, we’ll embrace uninterrupted reading time with a two-hour Silent Book Club. In the evening, we’ll gather for a literary open mic night, where guests can share a passage from a favourite book.
​
Day 3: Read & Journal | The morning begins with another dedicated reading session. After lunch, we’ll come together for a gentle guided journalling session. Take a coastal walk and discuss the book we read during our Silent Book Club.

Day 4: Farewell | After breakfast, we’ll say our farewells. As a goodbye gift, guests will receive one beautifully wrapped book after the retreat—handpicked to continue their literary journey long after they’ve left.
